Born and raised in sunny South Africa, and now happily residing in Berlin with my Scottish husband, I bring a global perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse love stories. My career as a journalist honed my storytelling skills, allowing me to uncover what makes your love special and create a ceremony that resonates deeply.
What sets my speeches apart? A perfect blend of humor and emotion because love should be celebrated with laughter and perhaps a few joyful tears.
I’ve wanted to officiate weddings for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in a large family, I learned the value of togetherness, community, and celebration. Family is incredibly important to me, and I love sharing that joy with you. This passion for human connections whether through blood or love – is at the heart of every ceremony I conduct.
Heartfelt and Humorous on Stage
I’ve spent my life on stage, whether as a journalist, comedian, or moderator. I understand the alchemy that happens when words touch hearts. With this experience, I’ll help shape your ceremony into something that is not only personal but also lively and engaging.
Humor is a key element, creating a light-hearted atmosphere and bringing people together, that’s what it all comes down to. At the same time, I cherish the quiet, deeply moving moments of love.
International couples hold a special place in my heart. Living in an international marriage myself, I appreciate the beauty – and occasional challenges – of such relationships. Your ceremony can be bilingual (in German and English), intercultural, or simply focused on the boundless nature of your love.
I am also deeply committed to celebrating queer couples. I want every couple to feel seen and celebrated in their diversity and uniqueness. Of course, I warmly welcome heterosexual couples as well. No matter who you are, your love story takes center stage with me. Together, we’ll create a wedding ceremony that delights you and
