I’m a passionate listener and storyteller, I love dancing tango, cherish the Southern German way of life and have a soft spot for Berlin’s unique sense of humour.
As a child, my dream job was to become a flight attendant because I was curious about the whole world. At twenty, I left the Black Forest for vibrant Berlin to satisfy my appetite for big-city life.
As a freelance filmmaker and systemic coach, I’ve travelled extensively across the globe. After spending forty wonderful years in Berlin, I now live back in Southern Germany, in beautiful Freiburg. My childhood dream has more than come true.
I’ve also been happily married to my husband Matthias for over twenty years. As a professional musician, he not only performs classical music but also loves playing tango and swing.
Having experienced the highs and lows of a long-term relationship and family life myself, I can’t wait to hear your unique love story.

As a little girl, I often walked down the aisle as the flower girl—usually a little too quickly, leaving the bride and groom almost jogging behind me. Today, as a wedding celebrant, I’ve been given a second chance. Together we’ll find exactly the right pace for your ceremony—and this time I’ll gently guide both of you, along with all your loved ones, through every beautiful moment.
I conduct ceremonies in German, English and Spanish—and, if you’d like, bilingually.
To tell your story in a way that truly feels like you, I take plenty of time to get to know you. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, laugh with you and create a safe space for everything you’d like to share. Of course, you always decide what becomes part of your ceremony, what stays private and what matters most to you.
Together we’ll plan every step of your ceremony. I’ll support and guide you throughout the process so you can enjoy your wedding day with complete peace of mind while I take care of all the details.

Carola was the speaker at our wedding ceremony and conducted the ceremony in both Spanish and German. She was very kind, warm, and professional, and did a wonderful job of making the ceremony feel special and personal.
She worked very closely and intensively with everyone involved to create and conduct the ceremony, which made the whole experience feel very thoughtful and well prepared.
We especially appreciated having Spanish included, as it allowed my parents to understand and follow the ceremony and be part of the moment. We really enjoyed having Carola as part of our special day and were very happy with how beautifully she conducted the ceremony.
Zur Hochzeit
Jessica und Marco feierten ihre deutsch-spanische Freie Trauung mit Carola im Hofgarten des Grenzhofs in Heidelberg. Beide Sprachen machten ihre Geschichte auch für die spanischsprachigen Angehörigen zugänglich. Nach dem Empfang auf der Terrasse ging es zum Essen und Tanzen in die Scheune8.

Wir hatten als Eltern des Bräutigams eine wunderbare Hochzeitsfeier mit einer schönen Zeremonie im Garten des Restaurants.
Carola ist eine sehr engagierte Rednerin, die die Gäste einbezieht und eine rührende Atmosphäre schafft.
Es war locker, gleichzeitig gut organisiert und sorgfältig vorbereitet.
Eine Veranstaltung, die gleichzeitig Witz und Tiefe hatte. Die Zweisprachigkeit der Zeremonie (Deutsch und Spanisch) war uns wichtig, damit alle Gäste der Zeremonie gut folgen konnten.
Dabei gingen die verschiedenen Sprachen nahtlos ineinander über, so dass die Veranstaltung dadurch zusätzlich belebt wurde.
Zur Hochzeit
Eine Rückmeldung der Eltern des Bräutigams ist für Carola eine besondere Ehre. Bei dieser deutsch-spanischen Zeremonie war ihr wichtig, dass die Familien in beiden Sprachen folgen und sich angesprochen fühlen konnten. Umso schöner ist es, wenn auch die Eltern die persönliche Atmosphäre und das Zusammenspiel von Humor und Tiefe in Erinnerung behalten.

Emmanuel beschreibt, wie Carola bei der deutsch-spanischen Freien Trauung auch die Angehörigen in ihre Erzählung einbezog. Für solche Rückmeldungen von Gästen sind wir besonders dankbar: Sie zeigen, dass die Worte über das Paar hinaus berühren und verbinden.

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die freie Trauung selbst – sie war emotional, persönlich und wunderschön gestaltet. Ein Highlight war für mich das Ritual mit den Bändern am Ende der Zeremonie. Dieser Moment war sehr symbolisch, berührend und sah auf den Fotos einfach fantastisch aus.
Ich empfehle Carola Trenkle sehr gerne weiter und werde sie auch künftig meinen Brautpaaren und Kollegen empfehlen. Wer eine Traurednerin sucht, die eine warme und besondere Atmosphäre schafft, ist bei ihr genau richtig.
