To me, this is more than just a greeting. It represents something I deeply believe in: love knows no boundaries, doesn’t fit into boxes, and speaks many languages.

Hi, I’m Jovana.

Born and raised in Hamburg, I met the love of my life in Berlin. And as if that wasn’t romantic enough, at some point I followed him back to his home in Upper Bavaria. Today, I live here with my family, surrounded by mountains, forests and cow pastures – and somehow found a new home in the very place where I once would have least expected it.

Why am I telling you this?

Because for a long time, I never imagined my life would turn out this way.

As a cultural studies graduate, I loved the energy of the city: theatre, art, culture, people – life happening right outside my front door. Twelve years in Berlin, and I honestly couldn’t imagine ever choosing to move to the countryside.

Then this man came along. And I definitely wanted to keep him.

So I threw a few of my rather fixed ideas about life overboard, followed my heart and embraced something I had previously been pretty sure wasn’t for me.

And what do you know? Things turned out differently. And pretty wonderfully, actually.

What am I trying to say?

Life rarely sticks to the plan. And love certainly doesn’t.

These are exactly the stories that make us who we are. The unexpected encounters. The little detours and the big decisions. The moments when we take a chance, follow our hearts and suddenly just know: this is it. This is the person I want to keep moving forward with.

And that’s exactly why I can’t imagine a more beautiful job.

Because I love these stories!

I want to know how you met. When a “Let’s see where this goes” turned into a “Definitely!” What makes you laugh together, what sometimes drives you crazy about each other, and what keeps you connected even when life doesn’t quite go according to plan.

I love it when you trust me with your story – and when I get to tell it during your ceremony in a way that makes you recognise yourselves in every word. No clichés, no cheesy lines, no unnecessary drama – and no turning your story into something that sounds more beautiful than the real thing.

Because that’s what matters to me: you.

What makes the two of you who you are. The journey you’ve shared, the people you are today, everything you’ve experienced together and everything you still want to experience.

I want to create a moment for you that allows you to look back on everything that has brought you here – while also looking ahead to all the wonderful things still to come.

A moment that feels personal and effortless, that can move you and, of course, leave plenty of room for laughter.

But most importantly, a moment that makes you say at the end:

Yes. That’s exactly us.
