On a windy and rather chilly day in May 2015, Lam and I said “I do” in an outdoor wedding ceremony beneath the open sky.

If there’s one piece of advice I’d love to share from my own experience, it’s this: surround yourselves with people you trust and let them take as much off your shoulders as possible. Your wedding day is about you—your love and the beautiful promise you’re making to one another.

So here’s my promise to you: I’ll be by your side throughout your entire journey, from today until you say “I do.”

But first, let me introduce myself.

I’m Lisa. I’ve travelled extensively and explored many parts of the world, yet I’ve never lost touch with my Swabian roots. Since 2012, Munich has been my home—although, to me, home has never been defined by a place, but by the people I love.

I’m a wife, a mum, and part of a German-Vietnamese family. I love being active and spending time in nature. You’ll often find me on my yoga mat, running through the fields or hiking in the mountains. I’m endlessly fascinated by the diversity of our world and equally excited by subjects as varied as systems theory and football.

Professionally, I’m a bit of a mosaic. I’m a coach and consultant specialising in connection, diversity and change, a university lecturer, a yoga teacher and, of course, a wedding celebrant with Strauß & Fliege.

That colourful mix suits me perfectly. My mind is constantly overflowing with new ideas, and I love trying new things. When something truly resonates with me, it earns a permanent place in both my heart and my life—rather like my beloved old Bialetti coffee maker.

What I love most is depth, complexity and all the little nuances that make people unique.

That’s exactly what I bring to every ceremony.

I listen carefully. I truly see you—your dreams, your hopes, your challenges and everything that makes your relationship uniquely yours.

I’m already looking forward to getting to know you and your story. And if I occasionally become very quiet, don’t worry—I’m simply listening for all the subtle moments between the lines.

Speaking of nuances…

They can become especially meaningful when different cultures come together. Thanks to my own experience within a German-Vietnamese extended family, combined with many years of professional expertise in intercultural communication, I know how to navigate these situations with confidence and sensitivity.

Language matters deeply to me, too. I always strive to communicate in an inclusive way, ensuring that every one of your loved ones feels welcomed, seen and emotionally connected throughout your ceremony.
